I-595 Corridor Improvements > Project Improvements Map

 Project Improvements Map

The limits of the project extend from the I-75/Sawgrass Expressway interchange to the I-595/I-95 interchange in central Broward County, Florida, for a total project length of approximately 10.5 miles.  The project consists of the reconstruction, addition of auxiliary lanes and resurfacing of the I-595 mainline (including associated improvements to adjacent cross-roads, frontage roads and ramps), and a new reversible express lanes system in the I-595 median.  The location of the various project design features are provided on the map below.

The project improvements from I-75 to approximately 1 mile east of SR 7 will be constructed as part of the public private partnership (P3) initiative.  The improvements east of SR 7 (from west of Pond Apple Slough to I-95) will be completed as part of a future project.

You can also view the corridor typical section and the project schedule.
